Gaines Investment Trust is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager.

Gaines Investment Trust is a dynamic, family-owned real estate investment company that has been in business for over 54 years. Presently, the company owns and manages apartment communities in five different states as well as other commercial and industrial investments in other parts of the country. The Gaines Investment Trust apartment portfolio is comprised of well located, high quality, market rent apartments, and 55 and older senior housing. Experience and Skills

  • 1+ years of experience as a multi-family/apartment Assistant Manager
  • Ability to provide top-notch customer service to residents with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Must be able to communicate at a professional level in-person, on the phone, and via email
  • Ability to work smart and effectively in a very fast-paced environment while meeting company deadlines
  • Ability to meet rent collection goals monthly
  • Highly-developed organizational and time management skills to perform all Assistant Manager duties timely and efficiently
  • Ability to meet property leasing and renewal goals
  • Professional appearance and dress code compliance required
  • Desire to be successful and grow professionally (We promote within!)
  • Computer skills with property management software, Microsoft Office, required.  Experience with Yardi software.
  • Must be flexible with work schedule requirements
  • English fluency

Job Benefits

  • Compensation: $18 - $20 / hour, plus a monthly performance bonus based on merit.
