1) Hands on Experience working with the below categories required.

  • Diagnose potential problems with:
    • Pools
    • Pool equipment
    • HVAC equipment
    • Roofs and/or roof leaks
    • Pumps
    • Motors
    • Fans
    • Exterior or Interior lighting
    • Fountains
    • Plumbing
    • Appliances
    • Boilers
    • Heaters
    • Electrical devices
    • Door locks
    • Drywall
    • Painting
    • Carpentry
    • Electrical components
    • Security systems/camera systems
  • After diagnosis, attempt to make onsite repairs, communicate with the onsite teams to make repairs, or work as a team to make repairs together.
  • Skillfully perform tasks using personal tools
  • Routinely seeks out ways to reduce costs by fixing small projects firsthand.
  • When resolution to problem requires a vendor, with a sense of urgency obtain vendor quotes for the appropriate repair or replacement.

2) What else am I responsible for as the Regional Maintenance Specialist ?

  • Evaluate existing contractors servicing GIT properties to ensure they are meeting the requirements of their contracts, and service.
  • Discuss ongoing suggestions with the National Project Manager or Owner
  • May include juggling jobs you are doing along with managing jobs Contractors need to do.
  • Conduct routine property inspections to ensure expectations are being met, to be in compliance and address concerns immediately.
  • Assist with training on-site teams one on one, and with small meetings
  • Review storage rooms for cleanliness and old, broken items, discarded.
  • Ensure necessary permits and licenses (fire, city, elevator, construction, gates) are in compliance at each property and if they are not figure out what it will require to make it right. 
  • Travel upon request to AZ, NV, CA, and OK as needed for the company.

3) 2+ years of experience in a related maintenance/construction/make-ready role
